AML Foods Limited proudly presented a donation of $5,000 to the Wenty Ford Sports Foundation Winners’ Club as part of its ongoing commitment to youth development, community empowerment, and sports advancement throughout The Bahamas.
The contribution represents AML Foods’ support through its flagship brands, Solomon’s and Domino’s Pizza Bahamas, which have joined the organization as an All-Star Sponsor, helping to provide opportunities for young athletes to develop their talents both on and off the field.
The Wenty Ford Sports Foundation Winners’ Club currently supports more than 100 inner-city youth through its innovative S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) and athletics program. This impactful initiative is designed to empower young people by nurturing both academic excellence and athletic discipline while cultivating a “success mindset” through dynamic, hands-on experiences that build confidence, leadership, and life skills.
Morning sessions focus on S.T.E.A.M. education through interactive activities such as coding games, science experiments, and creative arts integration, while afternoon sessions transition into athletic training, including baseball and softball development. Through drills, discussions, and scrimmages, participants learn the values of teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and personal accountability.
The Wenty Ford Sports Foundation Winners’ Club has earned a reputation for nurturing discipline, teamwork, leadership, and athletic excellence among Bahamian youth. Through structured training programs, mentorship, educational enrichment, and competitive opportunities, the organization continues to positively impact the lives of young people across the country.
“At AML Foods, we believe that investing in our youth is one of the most meaningful ways we can contribute to the future of The Bahamas,” said Renea Bastian, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at AML Foods Limited. “The Wenty Ford Sports Foundation’s unique approach of combining education through S.T.E.A.M. with athletic development aligns perfectly with our commitment to empowering young people. Sports and education together teach invaluable life skills such as perseverance, discipline, teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking.
We are proud to support a program that is helping to shape the next generation of Bahamian leaders.”
AML Foods has a longstanding history of supporting initiatives that strengthen communities, encourage healthy lifestyles, and create opportunities for future generations. Through sponsorships, charitable giving, educational initiatives, and community partnerships, the company remains committed to making a positive difference throughout The Bahamas.
Founder Dr. Wentia Ford expressed appreciation for the contribution, noting that partnerships with organizations such as AML Foods help ensure that young athletes have access to the resources, training, and opportunities needed to succeed.
“This support from AML Foods, Solomon’s, and Domino’s is an investment in our young people and their future,” Ford said. “Through our S.T.E.A.M. and athletics program, we are helping more than 100 inner-city youth discover their potential both in the classroom and on the field. We are grateful for AML Foods’ confidence in our mission and their commitment to helping us continue developing champions in sports, education, and life.”
The donation underscores AML Foods’ belief that strong communities are built through meaningful partnerships and a shared commitment to empowering the next generation.
