AML Foods Marks 50 Years with $50,000 Donation to Launch 10th Annual ‘Feed 5000’ Holiday Program
October 30th, 2025
AML Foods Limited has officially launched its 10th annual Feed 5000 Holiday Feeding Program, ushering in the season of giving with a $50,000 donation to provide meals for families in need. This milestone year holds special significance as the company celebrates both a decade of community impact through Feed 5000 and 50 years of service since its humble beginnings in Abaco.
Over the past nine years, Feed 5000 has grown into a powerful symbol of compassion and community spirit. With the generous support of customers, team members, and corporate partners, AML Foods has raised and distributed more than $500,000 in food vouchers, helping to feed over 100,000 Bahamians.
This year, from November 3rd to December 17th, 2025, AML invites its team members, customers, and corporate partners to add to their $50k contribution and support the program, whether by purchasing or donating toward a Christmas Meal Package. My Solomon’s Smart Rewards members can also donate their loyalty points to help make the holiday season brighter for families suffering from food insecurity.
Each Christmas Meal Package is valued at $50, and donations can be made at the register in any Solomon’s, Solomon’s Fresh Market, or Cost Right location in New Providence and Grand Bahama, as well as Exuma Markets in George Town, Exuma, and Eleuthera Markets in Governor’s Harbour, Eleuthera.
Donations can also be made online at www.dominos242.com or through any of the retail stores’ e-commerce websites: www.solomonsfreshmarkets.com, www.solomonsnassau.com, www.solomonsfreeport.com, www.exumamarkets.com, and www.eleutheramarkets.com.
AML Foods Limited has partnered with the Bahamas Feeding Network, The Grand Bahama branch of the Red Cross, The Eleuthera Branch of the Salvation Army and the One Exuma Foundation to distribute all proceeds raised. These organizations continue to lead the way in making a difference in the fight against hunger.
Renea Bastian, VP of Marketing & Communications, said, “As AML Foods Limited celebrates 50 years of serving the Bahamian people, our passion for giving back remains stronger than ever. The Feed 5000 program continues to touch lives across our islands, bringing hope, comfort, and nourishment to families who need it most. We’re truly grateful for the continued support of our customers, partners, and team members, and together, we’ll keep making a difference one meal, one family, one community at a time.”
Organizations, civic groups, or private citizens wanting to support the Feed 5000 program, can purchase a $50 package, or donate toward a package, in store at the registers or contact the Corporate Office of AML Foods Limited.
