AML Foods today announced that the construction project transforming the current Solomon’s Super Center location into a 25,000 sq ft modern Solomon’s neighborhood grocery store and an adjacent 55,000 sq ft new Cost Right Club is well on its way.

Richard Jones, VP of Facilities at AML Foods says that to date approximately $1.8m has been spent with local contractors and vendors.  “In the past few weeks, the original store has been divided into two separate locations and most of the new equipment has arrived on island.  Work is currently underway on the installation of the new roof and flooring as well as the removal of the old equipment, making way for the new energy-efficient refrigeration and air condition systems powered by solar energy.  The new front end of the Solomon’s location is also being built out and the new shelves are simultaneously being erected”, Jones explained.

“Our sincere gratitude goes out to our valued customers who continue to support the Old Trail Solomon’s location during renovations”, says Gavin Watchorn, CEO and President at AML Foods Limited.  “Although the work is ongoing, customers can still shop for a full basket, and find the same great variety, and savings they’re accustomed to with Solomons”.  The Solomon’s General Merchandise and Appliances departments have now relocated to Cost Right in the Town Center Mall, offering the same quality brands and low prices as Solomon’s. By joining the Cost Right Membership program, the prices are even lower.
