AML Foods’ Feed 5000 Program Distributes $41,000 in Food Vouchers in New Providence, Grand Bahama, and Exuma.

AML Foods Limited recently distributed $41,000 in food vouchers to feeding programs in New Providence, Grand Bahama, and Exuma, the proceeds of its annual Feed 5000 holiday give back initiative. The company contributed $20,000, and an additional $21,000 was raised at the registers from customers shopping at Solomon’s, Cost Right, Fresh Market, Exuma Markets, and Domino’s Pizza. The recipients of the Holiday Meal Packages included The Bahamas Feeding Network, The Grand Bahama chapter of the Bahamas Red Cross, and The Exuma Foundation in Georgetown, Exuma.

Since the launch of the Feed 5000 Pro gram in 2016, AML Foods has raised and distributed almost $600,000 in food vouchers to charitable organizations, providing almost 15,000 Christmas Meals, feeding some 60,000 Bahamians in need during the holiday season.

Father James Palacios, President, Bahamas Feeding Network; emphasized the profound impact of charitable giving, stating, “In reaching out to the poor and the hungry, we are not just offering sustenance; we are extending the hand of compassion and love. It is through acts of kindness like these that we truly embody the teachings of the Lord, who reminds us that whatever we do for the least among us, we do for Him.”

Father Palacios added; that the Bahamas Feeding Network is thankful to be a recipient of AML Foods’ Feed5000 initiative for the past eight years. He stated that The Holiday

Meal Packages have not only filled empty stomachs but have also brought joy and hope to those who need it most.”
